The meaning of ice
Kōri — the Japanese word for ice — embodies our philosophy: purity, clarity, and the refreshing ritual of matcha.
We partner directly with family-owned farms in Uji, Japan — the birthplace of Japanese matcha cultivation since 1191. Our farmers use traditional shading techniques, covering tea plants for 25+ days before harvest to enhance chlorophyll and L-theanine content.
Each batch is stone-ground at low temperatures to preserve the delicate flavor compounds and vibrant green color that define exceptional matcha.
